The designer was inspired by a necklace with a deco motif. Once he began submitting design ideas the upholstery selection began and a perfect pairing appeared. The perfect fabric was discovered because the pattern had the same repeating fan motif. And to make the style match the era of deco, a spaghetti fringe was developed to hang freely from the ottoman like the infamous trim of 1920?s flapper dresses.
